Geologist

The Geologist is a member of the Subsurface team and works closely with the Geophysicist, Reservoir Engineers and Petroleum Engineers. The core responsibility of the Geologist is to provide geology support to the shallow gas development projects. This includes static reservoir modeling, well log interpretation, well planning, compilation of data acquisition programs and operational support during drilling campaigns. In this role the Geologist will work closely with the Drilling discipline. Additionally, the Geologist supports the various oil and gas reservoir management teams within the Netherlands. This support includes the identi.cation and maturation of prospective plays and preparation for prospect review and risking. Finally, the Geologist helps the business development team in screening Dutch E&P opportunities. Successful candidates will be all round Geologists with a minimum of 10 years experience and a strong background in development geology. You are an experienced builder of 3D geological models in PetrelTM. You have profound knowledge of the petroleum geology of the Netherlands. Familiarity with Carbon Storage projects is considered an advantage. You have a good command of the English language.
